QUALITY POLICY

Talon Security Company is committed to provide high quality of security services for (Facilities, Projects, PSD and convoys). Talon provides logistic assistance to support governmental security bodies and it also help them in deploying security and order throughout the activities of its professional and highly trained staffs by taking into consideration answering to it customer’s demands.

 

Talon activities are submitted to the International Standard Requirements of (ISO 9001:2015) in defining and understanding the context of the company and the interested party’s requirements by defining, measuring and reviewing the quality objectives in accordance with the concept of risks and opportunities thus enhancing opportunities for continuous improvement.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

TALON Security recognizes and respects the importance of the environmental and its goal of preventing any environmental damage. As a leading service provider, we will act in accordance with the legislation.

 

To deliver on our commitment, we will:

  • Announce & distribute the TALON Security Environmental Policy and procedures to all employees and subcontractors as appropriate to ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities   in relation to compliance with environmental practices.

  • Comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations and statutory obligations.

  • Ensure that TALON Security environmental management systems meet (ISO 14001:2015) requirements and are integrated into our business activities.

  • Provide training & updated awareness in good environmental practices to all employees & encourage them in environmentally friendly activities. 

  • Strive to eliminate or minimize adverse environmental effects and risks.

  • Periodically review and revise our Environmental Policy and procedures to maintain their relevance.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT POLICY

TALON Security recognizes and respects the importance of PPE and its goal of preventing the potential risk for injuries & incidents. This PPE policy applies to all TALON Security employees and subcontractors.

 

  • To avoid injuries or incidents occurring, a Designated Safety Representative together with the relevant Department Manager will conduct hazard assessments to determine the PPE requirements prior to tasks being performed.

  • The TALON Security Safety Representative will ensure that the correct PPE is used i.e. The PPE chosen must offer adequate protection against the Hazards identified during the Hazard Assessment. Only PPE that meets NIOSH standards will be acceptable for use.

  • The Department Managers have the primary responsibility of implementing and enforcing the PPE Policy. This includes providing appropriate PPE & training to employees. Employees are also responsible for following the PPE policy, more specifically, using the correct PPE where required and ensuring proper care. The employees also need to inform their supervisor if the PPE needs to be replaced.

  • The HSE department is responsible for conducting training for employees relating to the correct use of PPE. Training will be conducted when PPE is issued to employees and when incorrect usage of PPE is identified.

  • Failure to follow the rules regarding PPE Policy will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL POLICY

TALON Security is committed to maintaining drugs and alcohol free work environment.

The presence of drugs and alcohol at the workplace poses a tremendous threat to employee safety and security.

To deliver on our commitment, we will:

 

  • Announce & distribute TALON Security Drugs and Alcohol Policy to all employees, subcontractors and clients as appropriate.

  • Comply with all applicable drugs and alcohol laws, regulations and statutory obligations.

  • Routinely observe our employees for behavior which would indicate a drug or alcohol problem and implement proactive preventive measures before this behavior results in harm to employees and public.

  • Strictly prohibit the use, sale, transfer or possession of illegal drugs or controlled substances anywhere by any employees and subcontractors whilst on duty.

  • Failure to follow the rules regarding this Drugs and Alcohol Policy will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

DRIVING POLICY

TALON Security recognizes and respects the importance of driving and its goal of preventing the potential risk for accidents or incidents. This driving policy applies to all TALON COMPANY drivers and subcontractors.

 

  • Driver Qualification and Training: All drivers shall hold Defensive Driving Certificates and a valid state or territory driver’s license for the class applicable to the type of vehicle being driven. 

  • Seat Belts: Fastened seat belts are mandatory for TALON Security drivers and passengers and Subcontractor drivers and passengers.

  • Speed Limits: All TALON Security drivers and subcontractors must respect the speed limits on public roads and keep a safe distance between vehicles.

  • Journey Management System: The Journey Management System shall consider any possible emergencies that may occur including injury to personnel, property damage and environmental damage.

  • Alcohol and Drugs: Driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or any drugs or narcotics is strictly prohibited and subject to disciplinary action including termination as stated in the TALON Security Drugs and Alcohol Policy.

  • Cellular Phones: Using cellular phones while driving is strictly prohibited

  • Failure to follow the rules regarding this Driving Policy will result in disciplinary action starting from a warning letter, defined fine (monetary penalty) and including termination.

HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

TALON Security’s Health and Safety Policy provides a safe and healthy working environment to its employees, clients and subcontractors. Continual improvement in the Health and Safety performance will be achieved by setting objectives, measuring progress and communicating results.

 

To further deliver on our commitment, we will:

  • Announce & distribute TALON Security Health and Safety Policy and procedures to all employees as appropriate.

  • Comply with all applicable health and safety laws, regulations and statutory obligations.

  • Maintain and monitor health and safety performance by a comprehensive compliance program including audits.

  • Provide adequate training and resources to our employees so that they may work in a safe manner.

  • Provide health and safety risk management systems and procedures that are relevant to the nature of the work undertaken.

ANTI-BRIBERY POLICY

Bribery is the offering, promising, giving, accepting or soliciting of an advantage as an inducement for action which is illegal or a breach of trust. A bribe is an inducement or reward offered, promised or provided in order to gain any commercial, contractual, regulatory or personal advantage.

 

  • It is our policy to conduct all of our business in an honest and ethical manner. We take a zero tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships wherever we operate and implementing and enforcing effective systems to counter bribery.

 

  • We will uphold all laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions in which we operate, in respect of our conduct both at home and abroad.

 

  • Bribery and corruption are punishable for individuals by up to ten years' imprisonment and a fine. If we are found to have taken part in corruption, we could face an unlimited fine, be excluded from tendering for public contracts and face damage to our reputation. We therefore take our legal responsibilities very seriously.

HUMAN RIGHT POLICY

Talon security is committed to the recognition, respect and promotion of human rights wherever we conduct our operations and is dedicated to maintaining a working environment where human rights are understood and respected.

 

  • The Company adheres to international law on the protection of human rights, as well as the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and International Code of Conduct Association (ICoCA) Code,

 

  • The Company will exercise due diligence to ensure compliance with the Law and the principles contained in the ICoCA Code and we will respect the human rights of all persons we come into contact with, including, the rights to freedom of expression, association, and peaceful assembly and against arbitrary or unlawful interference with privacy or deprivation of property.

 

  • The Company shall not preclude access to judicial or other non-judicial grievance mechanisms and shall always cooperate with all human rights-related investigations.

 

 

  • All Company personnel, partners and contractors shall treat everyone respectfully, protect human dignity and maintain and uphold human rights of all persons, prohibiting harassment and discrimination in all aspects of Company’s activities.

 

  • Security guards may use force only when strictly necessary as the last resort and only to the extent required for their self-defence and this of the people they protect during the performance of their duty, always in accordance with Talon Security SOP and Code of Conduct.

 

  • No security guard or any Company personnel may inflict, instigate or tolerate any act of torture or other cruel, inhuman degrading treatment or punishment.

 

  • Security guards should apply as much as possible non-violent means before resorting to the use of force and firearms and should follow the standards and procedures set out for the rules and regulations for the use of force and firearms.

 

  • In cases where force is used, such incidents should be properly reported to the appropriate authorities and to the company, as soon as it is safe to do.

 

  • The Company provides effective training for all personnel in international humanitarian law and human rights law / standards and declines any persons determined to have been responsible for human rights violations. Any employee found to have committed such violations after fair hearing will face the consequences which will depend on how the individual has contravened this Policy and the Company’s Codes and in what circumstances and could range from a warning to immediate dismissal.

 

  • This Policy applies to all Company personnel, particularly those employees who carry weapons or perform work in hostile environments.
